of a negative leader
¿How can we recognize a negative leader?
1.
The opinion of those leaders it is unique.
Even, they act in an arrogance way, and they believe they have the absolute
reason and reject any other advice.
2. A negative leader doesn't assume the
accountability and considers themselves never make a mistake, and others are
who make errors.
3. Those leaders use reprisals and threats to
guide their team. Due to the lack of motive and without communicating with the
team, this leader uses the fear culture to guide their
team members.
4. They like to be adulated by others, owing to
they are insecure people, and love working with
less prepared people.
5. They act unjustly and move toward reaching
their objectives, showing a dishonest behavior.
In my own experience, I have observed how some leaders
mistreat and abuse their team, taking advantage of their authority position.
Some of those leaders lie to their bosses or clients and involve their team in
those lies, forcing them to act dishonestly.
If you meet a leader, manager or supervisor who has these
characteristics, you have to get away from them, because you could face a
significant problem, and damage your professional image, no matter if you have
to search another job, finally, they will act without ethics and even against
you.
Remember, a good leader act with ethics and values such as humility and honesty.
